Lai Mohammed commissions Kwara APC Ultra modern Secretariat

Alhaji Yakub Gobir has again called on all APC stalwarts in the State to unite and work together for the liberation of Kwara State.

He made this call while speaking at the official commissioning of the Kwara State APC Secretariat located at no 6 Asa Road, GRA Ilorin which he donated to the party.

Alhaji Yakub Gobir who was a former gubernatorial aspirant of the party said he was motivated to build the secretariat as a result of the aftermath of the party’s gubernatorial primaries which he said saddened a lot of the contestants and has made them to jettison the Kwara liberation project. He noted that going back to the old secretariat will continue to remind them of past events and there is no way the party can progress. Which was what made him build the befitting building which will serve as the new secretariat.

He advised party supporters to campaign vigorously for the party across the three senatorial districts of the state and win President Muhammadu Buhari a second term and bring Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in as Governor of the state.

Also speaking, the Minister for Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed expressed his confidence that the party will Win at all levels in the forthcoming polls, he therefore named the new Kwara APC secretariat “Unity House”, he thanked Alhaji Yakubu Gobir (Waziri Hausa) for the gesture and commitment to the liberation struggle in the state.

In his remarks, the Nigerian Ambassador to Malaysia and Brunei, Ambassador Nurudeen Muhammad charged all party members to return to their various senatorial districts and wards to campaign massively for the all progressive congress in the forthcoming polls.

The party chairman, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa, appealed to all party members to make it a point of duty in their respective units to canvass and gather votes for the All Progressive Congress.

He commended Waziri Gobir for donating the building to the party.
