Waziri Yakubu Gobir, and the GOBIR Organisation hereby commiserates with the Patigi Community over the demise of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar, Etsu of Patigi who transited to the world beyond last night.
His permanent departure has, no doubt, created a big vacuum which only Allah may help to fill. As Emir for many years, he played such an exemplary role that commanded the respect of all and sundry across the country including that of non-Muslims. For most of his life as an Emir, he was a strong pillar of community development.
His tenure as Emir was an epoch in the anal of the history of Patigi Emirate as he combined cultural, spiritual and temporal spheres of life with the carriage of a unique royal charisma.
The Etsu Patigi, no doubt, lived a worthy life of altruism, benevolence and integrity. His grace, aura and candour are evident in the spirit of brotherliness, unity and progress the good people of Patigi enjoys today.
We thank the Almighty Allah for his fruitful life which has become a model for most Nigerian traditional rulers as well as other people who are aspiring to become exemplary leaders.
We pray Allah to repose his soul in eternal bliss and grant his immediate and distant families the fortitude to carry on peaceful life in his absence.
