EASTER MESSAGE

EASTER MESSAGE from:
BEN. Kayode S. O. Alao (Capt.; ANTO )  The Secretary/Organizer, BBN, Kwara State Council.

Here comes another Easter celebration; a reminder of the suffering, death, resurrection and ascension to glory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I congratulate all members of the Boys’ Brigade, Kwara State Council, and of course, members nationally and worldwide on the commemoration of this all important memorable nucleus of Christianity. May the essence of this season be reflected in our daily living and may we celebrate many more years in good health, joy and prosperity.

Fellow soldiers for Christ, permit me to use this medium to remind us all that the activities of the Boys’ Brigade revolve round Easter. It is the triumphant resurrection of Jesus that gives us hope for a worthy living on earth and a glorious satisfactory endless living hereafter. Every one of us should therefore be doubtlessly sure of his faith and believe in Jesus Christ, through whom we shall get to God in Heaven. We should take adequate time to teach salvation through the cross to one another within and outside the company, battalion/group, state and the national Councils. The advancement of Christ kingdom and the promotion of habits of obedience, reference, discipline, self-respect and all that tend towards a true Christian manliness would be appreciated if only we indeed proclaim Christ to the world as enjoined in Matthew 28:19, not only by words but also by what we behave in our secret and open life. The fear of God is the antidote to our ailing world.

Please bear in mind that the level of our belief, trust and submission to Christ will reflect in the kind of Boys’ Brigade organization we present to humankind. Christ’s suffering and sacrifices must not be in vain.

On behalf of the BBN, Kwara State Council and my family, I congratulate every member.

Happy Easter.

BEN. Kayode S. O. Alao (Capt.; ANTO )
The Secretary/Organizer, BBN, Kwara State Council
