KYC mourns 21 young Kwarans lost to auto crash along Mokwa-Jebba road
We received with rude shock the loss of 21 young Kwarans who died along Mokwa -Jebba road yesterday.
The young men were in search of meaningful direction to life when a heavy duty vehicle lost direction and rammed into the Toyota bus conveying them, according to reports.
It was an agonizing moment at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital yesterday where parents and family members had rushed to identify bodies of their loved ones.
Kwara and indeed Nigeria have lost brains that would affect our generation positively in the nearest future.
We commiserate with the Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq whose interest in the young people as partners in the rebirth of a new Kwara is uncommon. We pray God to give fortitude to their parents and loved ones.
