Kwara Govt begins distribution of over 100,000 free hand sanitizers
As part of the several proactive measures taken by the state government to curtail the widespread of COVID-19 in the state, the Kwara State Government ably led by Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has started massive distribution of over 100,000 different volumes of “Not for Sale” hand sanitizers across the state.
The distribution started during the weekend across all state-owned hospitals, pharmaceutical shops and others providing essential services in the state. The grassroot distribution to citizens and residents of the state has continued today.
It’s essential to note that these sanitizers are free and not to be sold as it is part of the several efforts of Kwara state government to further step up measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state. The sanitizers are not drugs nor vaccine to cure the deadly virus, but to maintain quality personal hygienes not forgetting hand-washing with soap and water as they all remain in there respective home on the directive of the government.
The AbdulRazaq led administration has tidied up distribution plan for further palliatives which will include food items subsequently.
Though, no case of COVID-19 have been reported in Kwara State, the government is putting all measures in place to ensure citizens are safe and Kwara is free from the spread of Coronavirus.
