ARTISANS LAUD FG SURVIVAL FUND, CALLS FOR MORE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Artisans in Kwara state have expressed delight at the efforts of the Federal Government survival fund initiative to support businesses in the state.
The state’s President for Artisan Congress, Alh Saad Alawaye while speaking to our correspondent lauded the program, noting that it will go a long way in helping artisans to support themselves.
The federal government survival fund is aimed at alleviate the negative impact of Covid 19 on businesses and citizens who have been affected as a result of the pandemic.
The artisans also appreciated the focal person for Kwara state, Mr. Mohammed Brimah for the well-coordinated enumeration exercise for members who will benefit from the support.
They however called on the federal government to provide access to finance to acquire world class equipment to make them more productive and their business dealings easier.
He pointed out that such help from the government and other philanthropic private institutions will go a long way in improving not just businesses, but the society in general Other members of the association also acknowledged Trendsville Msme hub, a private institution in Kwara state for their constant drive towards improving innovation and ease of doing business for artisans.
