Kwara State Government began rural road work to reconnect Kaiama, Kosubosu road

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has taken good governance to the people of Kaiama & Baruten by constructing 87km kaiama-kosubosu road, when completed the road will aid the transport of farm produce in both towns and nearby villages to access new market.

This will in turn increase the IGR and create new employment opportunities in kwara.

For 16 years, the 87Km Kaiama – Kosubosu road has been cut off and our people from Kaiama had to drive a 250km journey through Gberia through Kishi, Igboho, Ogboro, Ilesha Baruba, Sinau, Okuta to arrive at Kosubosu in 6 hours 30 minutes due to bad road conditions.

On Thursday Kwara State government began rural road work to reconnect Kaiama, Kosubosu road as plan to cut down travel time to less than 2 hours.
