Progress does not lie in the experience of an old man who had solved several problems of the world in the distant past as his wits mostly reside in the past. Every new day breathes out freshness to the world: it brings new opportunities which may not be easily discerned with the ancient orientation, and it is only ideal that only fresh solutions are applied to fresh problems with a complete resistance to the old orders. Since no nation wishes to relocate to the past, only youths can appreciate this moment because they are the product of the fresh revolution.

I heard a knock at my office door at the early hour of Saturday, 10th day of April, 2021. I peeped from the window and I saw a beautiful brownish car glittering at my sight acknowledging its newness. I couldn’t tell the brand of the car at a glance but it humbled my car at its side. Admiring this car, I got carried away until another knock regained my consciousness and I hurriedly opened the door. I met a dark, young, cleaned and handsome man in an expensive, simple and ironed Jalabiyya at my door step. He was in his late teen. He humbly introduced himself and we exchanged complements. I led him to the inner chambers of the office. I sat down and he politely sought for my permission to sit on the guest’s chair which I

granted before he ended the request. He had earlier booked an appointment with me on Phone two days before. He was referred to me by an old friend from a neighboring state. He sought for my legal advice regarding his profession. I know you will want to ask for his profession. He is an internet warlord which some people refer to as G-boy. When he referred to himself as G-boy, I asked; ‘Yahooyahoo? He said; that is an archaic name for amateurs in the profession. Wow! He was so proud of the work and he called it ‘Profession. He presented his issues and I advised him accordingly. At the end of my session with him, he paid handsomely well for the legal advice I rendered. When he was set to go, I politely asked him to school me from his profession’s view too. He jokingly asked if I am ready to pay and I accepted with amusement. Considering his age and how he comported himself, I quickly picked the position of a student thirsting for knowledge. I asked him if his own G-boy carries ‘PLUS’. He smiled at ease as a real Don that he is. Only daft and unskilled amateurs PLUS the Yahoo profession. His reply forced me to ask him to guide me on how a Professional G-boy excel without having to add PLUS.

He strengthened his voice in an esteemed manner and sipped the coffee he picked from the saucer in his front while I was patient with all my senses. To become a professional G-boy, there is need to have a good phone(s), good laptop with a good Ram and Rom: he said. He stressed the need to decide what sex one intend to use in running one’s online presence and persona. He further acknowledged the need to have earlier created social media accounts with fictitious profiles. He further thought me the use of Cloning App to establish and own a brand voice. He analyzed the use and means of acquiring foreign number if the intention is to act as a foreigner since Nigerians have been blacklisted from most of the dating sites. He emphasized the need to download a software called ‘Gammarly’ to justify the choice of country, the dictions, the way and the styles of writing of the chosen country. The app is a word correction checks. He defined Magas as victims of internet fraud and how they can be managed to gain their trusts. I stopped him when his analysis on Wire-wire is becoming interestingly tempting. Thank God that I am fixed in what I do. After the lecture, I escorted him to his car as a student will do to his teacher. What is the meaning of “cashout’: I quickly asked when he was about to enter his car. He humbly and quietly said; could you believe me if I say I have been chating with about three Magas while I was in meeting with you? I don’t; I responded. One of them has just paid sir: he reliably confessed. All things being equal, if multitasking, cyber skills and trust building among other demonstrated skills projected by this young man, is well cultured and shaped for  international relation and diplomacy, with such potentials Nigeria will win deals of higher value.

The old people in power are yet to identify the rationale behind abduction of secondary school children by terrorists. No child wants to rest while their mates are at work, they don’t quit while finding solution to tasks and they don’t give up on any task, only nature forces them to sleep. It takes an extra effort for a soldier of fifty years to shoot a terrorist of his children’s age in a warfront while children will kill their families for passion if trained in such direction. I am sure the abducted chibok girls are now professional in what the terrorists trained them for and you can’t find their match among their contemporaries who were released.

If secondary school children have been abducted to be trained for attacks, what have we been doing to train their contemporaries for defense? Aja Iwoyi lomo Eworo Iwoyi le (only the new dog of the moment can hunt the rabbit of the moment. Time and practice have proven that age is an evidence of being spent and the wisdom of Solomon has been adjudged obsolete. The time is now for youths to take over the batons of leadership if the world must be at peace,

Kwara is a very good example of the positive impact of youths in politics, we are fortunate that the incumbent government has a soft spot for youth and that has been demonstrated in his appointment of youths as political office holders. The most pathetic part of it all is that youths are also the ones challenging the appointment of youths as leaders in kwara state.

They question the appointments of graduates when law requires a mere evidence of attendance of secondary school or its equivalent for the president of the country and also question the experience of youths who were given opportunity to showcase their hidden skills, as if the experiences of the old matter more in the generation we find ourselves. The efforts put in place by kolo is telling in the current sport festival at the moment when she is no longer in the office. The wonderful legislative activism of the current speaker of kwara state house of assembly who is a youth is excellent and unprecedented.

The impact of Solace as a special assistance on New Media is magical to the extent that one begins to wonder if he is actually doing any other thing aside his duties as a new media man as media spoilers have been brought to their knees.

Sometimes I question the magical strength of my precious friend; Kayode Oyin Zubair on how he manage to multiply himself to project communal commitment to the people of kwara state. The qualitative concept of Qowiyu is rear among his contemporaries.

Alakawa as a strategist and as political manager is gingering the political space. Up till this very moment, none has been able to project the like of Chief Press Secretary to this governor up till this very moment in terms of competency, sincerity, holiness and modesty. He is a revolution to the status quo of having to be a good manipulator and liar to defend a good government.

What about the superb skills and styles of Jumoke as a Principal Private Secretary to the kwara state governor in fostering coordination and management of both governor and other political office holders? Wonderful, I say. These committed youths and host of their likes in the government of Mallam Abdulraman Abdulrazaq constitute a team who are experimenting what this country is missing while benching youths for the old and used politicians. I am sure, the like of Kaowthar, Senior, Magrt of Edu and Maryam of Pategi will justify their appointments like their predecessors to rubbish their critics.

Finally, I am taking this opportunity to notify the whole world that kwara state is already in the future they are speculating and in no time, the expected dividends of our action will catch up with us soon. As for the youths who are moody to this development, my advice is for them to accept to be friends to these few chosen youths and in no time, their times will catch up with them.

Sambo Muritala Esq.
